You probably don’t have the budget to purchase a Valentino Bag and spend over $450,000 like Gwyneth Paltrow. You can; however, look like a million, polished, put together, chick, even a fashionesta (if you wish to be) just by shopping and enjoying the hunt. I have been helping women between the ages of 35 to 75 do just that for years. It is absolutely thrilling to see women create an image that makes them feel and look like a star!
To help you look like a movie star on a real person’s budget, there are certain must haves for this Spring. The trick this season is to think color in every choice you make. Mix your colors and be as bold and daring as long as you feel comfortable. Remember it is very important to move out of your comfort zone even in a small way. Jillian Michaels from the Biggest Loser was featured lately in an article about her must haves for Spring. It made me think about all the people she has helped look and feel great. The women who are loosing and transitioning into a great wardrobe are, I am sure, on a budget but need to look fashionable as they are moving down the scale.

Accessories
Bold necklace and multi-strand beads in Blues, Greens, and Tangerine. When shopping for accessories, try vintage consignment and high end consignment shops. Shop for trendy accessories on sale during the season..not the end of season because next year they will not be on trend. The off price discount stores always have some interesting accessories to create a fun wardrobe.
Hand Bags
Color Blocked, Bright Blues, Greens, Pink, and Orange. If you can not afford leather make sure the bag feels and looks like leather, and has great hard wear.
Shoes
Strappy, ballerina and wedge. Choose one or two new stylish shoes and remember color punches up your outfit.
Camisoles
Layering is a must have especially with the wonderful lace and see through tops. Buy camisoles in Black, White, Cream, Green, Blue, and Tangerine.
Jeans
SKINNY JEANS are not for everyone. If you are still loosing weight, or you are not a size 2-8 try a a rich color jean in a boot cut or trouser cut. Not Your Daughter Jeans has a variety of choices in style and color.
Blazer/Jacket
You need a fitted blazer to mix and match with your jeans, skirt, or dress.
Dress
My favorite for most bodies is a lovely Wrap dress. Try a floral or geometric print. The Maxi Skirt/Dress is a great Spring favorites. A stripe or print is a good choice.
Shopping in the Designer Shops of the Outlet Stores you will find some good bargains for this season that are currently in the Department stores. I care about budget, looking in the mirror and having a Positive Reflection.
